Annual Thanksgiving Pie Sale

Our annual Thanksgiving Pie Sale is always a treat for everyone! The two pies baked by our lovely Eastern Star ladies are apple and pumpkin; however, if you contact them early, you can order a different type of pie if you wish. The pies cost $8.00 apiece and can be picked up between 1pm and 3pm the Wednesday before Thanksgiving. If you would like to place an order online, please contact us through our admin address and provide us with your name and email, plus your pie order. A phone number will also need to be provided so we can verify your info. You canm email us at Administration@queencitychapter66.com Please get your orders in early!pies

MARTHA WASHINGTON TEA PARTY RETURNS TO QUEEN CITY

A long-standing tradition returns to Queen City in the form of the Martha Washington Tea Party. We will be holding this time-honored event on Sunday, May 2nd from 2-4pm. Tickets are $6.00 and you will receive a variety of teas and sandwiches, plus a fashion show highlighting the dresses worn from previous Worthy Matrons from years back. Also, we will be auctioning off miniature tea sets to benefit a local Masonic charity. RSVP’s would help us indicate how many to expect but you can buy tickets at the door as well. We look forward to having a fun event and thank you in advance for your support!

QUEEN CITY#66 ANNUAL CHICKEN PAPRIKASH DINNER!!!

chkn-paprikash 1It’s time once again for our annual chicken paprikash dinner. We are proud to put this event on every year and love the positive response from the community and other Chapters.  The dinner will be held on Saturday, April 9th from 4-7 pm. Tickets are $10.00 for adults and $6.00 for children 12 & under. Any child 3 & under will eat for free. Your meal includes chicken paprikash, green beans, salad and multiple desserts to choose from, plus a beverage. Please come out and support us in this wonderful event!

Queen City Christmas Party A Blast!!!

oes1Queen City held their annual Christmas Party on December 18th to a group of festive ladies and gentlemen. There was a buffet of spectacular food, Christmas carols sung, and a gift exchange as well. Queen City Chapter #66 would like to thank all those who have made this a wonderful and memorable year and we look forward to having another great year. We wish you all a very Merry Christmas and a helthy, Happy New Year!!

Queen City & Day Chapter Get Together For Thanksgiving Dinner

100_183322Queen City and Day Chapter joined forces and came together with a traditional Thanksgiving dinner on November 18th. George Wadge shared a Masonic story about Thanksgiving and everyone enjoyed the delicious meal served. We all had a wonderful time with Day Chapter and thank them for their continued support!

Fall Craft Show This Saturday!!!

There will be a community Fall Craft Show Nov. 14, 2009 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. It is being held at the Black River Masonic Lodge #786 (3695 Pearl Avenue Lorain). There will be a variety of items sold by individuals and local organizations. There will be tables selling homemade crafts, food, and .925 sterling silver jewelry. There is $1 donation at the door which will go to help the Masonic Charities.

2010 Officer Installation a Huge Success!!

October 24th marked the 2010 Installation of Officers at Queen City Chapter #66 and was received with glowing success! Over 65 guests and dignitaries poured into the Lodge to greet the new arrivals. The list of officers elected are as follows: Anita Maiden is our new Worthy Matron, Max “Lucky” McClane is our new Worthy Patron, Linda Shull is our new Associate Matron, David Maiden is our new Associate Patron, Nancy Maiden is our new Secretary, Lois Kubishki is our new Treasurer, Terry Douglas is our new Conductress, Sarah Layman is our new Associate Conductress, Mark Layman is our new Chaplain, our Organist is Rachel Baker, Esther is Janet Sutter, Martha is Bonnie Rollason, George Wadge is Warder and Ellen Wadge is our Sentinel. Congratulations on our new officers. A lovely dinner was served following the festivities and many pictures were taken that will be posted at a later date.
